Looking back... |

| It was another very busy year! Not only do we breed and show our dogs, we are both involved in some breed clubs and group 1, | ||||||||
| it takes a lot of time but our breeds are very valuable to us and they deserve our time. | ||||||||
| Of course I was over the moon by passing my judging exams for both corgi breeds early this year. | ||||||||
| We were also lucky to have some nice litters, the I, J & K-litter in Cardis and to be able to run on some nice kids. | ||||||||
| It's always very important to find great homes for our pets and we are very happy to have found some for our puppies. | ||||||||
| Draco sired his first litter at Waggerland and we are very happy with his offspring. Foster sired a bitch from Denmark and Caelin | ||||||||
|
sired a bitch at Floatin'. We hope their offspring will live on as some great Cardis. |
||||||||
|
We were very happy to receive great health results on the health checks we did this year, how lucky can you be? |
||||||||
| We had some great successes at the European Dogshow and the Amsterdam Winner, gaining all 4 titles, at the World Dogshow, | ||||||||
| gaining 3 titles and at the specialty club shows by winning the double at the French, German, Belgian and Dutch Clubshow! | ||||||||
| In Cardis we went Top Cardi Bitch and Top Cardi Male with Jojo and Draco, in Pems we went Top Pem Bitch with Lizzy. | ||||||||
| We have 6 dogs selected for the Dog of the Year competition. | ||||||||
| We are very grateful to the breeders of our great dogs for trusting them to us, to our co-owners who helped us raising some great | ||||||||
| show and companion dogs. And we say "Thank You!!!" to all judges who thought so highly of our dogs. | ||||||||
| And once again we would like to thank our friends for their support during another show season, Lisa and Carrie for making it | ||||||||
| happening in the UK, Wilma for taking great care of our kids and dogs when we're on the road and you for your interest by | ||||||||
| checking out this website! | ||||||||
| Despite all great news, we are very saddened with the sudden loss of our CH. Rarebit Black Cressida, Bizzy was our foundation | ||||||||
| bitch, a great mother to her puppy's and a true leader of the pack. We are so grateful for what she gave us. | ||||||||
| Her spirit will live on in our youngsters an we're sure she sometimes runs along with all her friends in the woods here at Waggerland. | ||||||||
| When we had to let her go we found comfort in knowing that she was escorted by some other great dogs we lost over the years and | ||||||||
| I'm sure her breeder, the late Iben Maier, waited for her as well. Rest in peace sweet girl! | ||||||||

After the Joe Katshow we head home for some more doggrooming and packing the car and I took off for |
||||||||

the World Dogshow in Salzburg, Austria. I stayed in a great hotel, and very nice for the dogs, |
||||||||
|
except for the fact that 3 cars exploded the last night, luckily there were no dogs in these cars |
||||||||
| and my car was not parked next to them, pfff... | ||||||||
|
It was very hectic to get to the showground, but wow, Austria is such a beautiful country, |
||||||||
|
Salzburg being surrounded by great mountains and medieval castles. |
||||||||
|
We were so proud of our great wins at the World Dogshow: Draco won the Junior World Winner title, |
||||||||
|
Abby won the Junior World Winner title and Holly, handled by Lisa, went World Winner under |
||||||||
|
judge mrs. G. Cook (Aus). Jojo won her class and was handled by Dom Santoriello. |
||||||||
|
Sweetie went third in junior class and Jethro second. Yep we had a great day! |

who won Best Male and Best Junior in Show. Holly won Best of Breed! |

We had a great day and quite a long journey but it was well worth being there again! |
